Hunter Barron

REALTOR®

Hunter is a proud Austin native who has spent the past decade in commercial real estate before recently making the transition to residential. After earning his Bachelor’s degree in Entrepreneurship from Belmont University in Nashville, he returned to Texas and joined the Land Brokerage team at CBRE. He later moved into a family business focused on master-planned community development in the San Marcos area, giving him a deep understanding of how communities are built and how neighborhoods evolve.
His decision to switch to residential real estate was personal. A few years ago, while representing himself in the purchase of his own home, Hunter discovered a genuine passion for the homebuying process. He saw firsthand how much guidance, communication, and trust matter during one of life’s biggest decisions—and he wanted to bring that same support to others. Today, he focuses on being a friendly, reliable, and trustworthy partner for clients, whether they’re buying their first home, selling for the best possible price, or navigating something in between.

Hunter lives in the Lost Creek neighborhood of West Austin with his wife and their young daughter. Being a dad is his favorite role, and he loves watching his daughter grow. Outside of work and family time, he’s known for his cooking and baking—especially around the holidays, when his coffee cake and cookies are in high demand. He also enjoys tennis whenever he can get on the court.

Hunter’s approach is simple: be a Swiss Army agent. He takes the time to understand exactly what his clients need and then does everything possible to meet those needs. Whether that means guiding someone through the buying or selling process or connecting them with the right contractor or vendor for a home improvement project, he aims to be a true one-stop resource for all things residential.
